What the Chamber is

The Chamber brings together companies, institutions and professionals with a genuine commercial interest in trade between the Ukrainian and Kosovar markets.

It helps companies establish contact with verified counterparties, documents practical barriers to direct shipments and represents members’ shared technical and commercial interests before competent institutions.

Why the Chamber is needed

Trade between the two markets has been documented for more than five years, yet much of it remains indirect. The absence of a reliable way to identify and verify counterparties increases time, cost and legal risk.

The Chamber was established as practical infrastructure for direct trade.

Legal basis

The Chamber is registered in Kosovo under Law No. 06/L-043 on Freedom of Association in Non-Governmental Organisations. Registration No. 5121200-2.

The Chairman of the Board serves as the Representative of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Kosovo. This gives the Chamber a direct working link with Ukraine’s national chamber and its regional network.

The Chamber is an independent legal entity and is not a division or representative office of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. These are two distinct statuses.

What the Chamber does not do

• It does not trade, act as buyer, seller, agent or intermediary, or receive commission from members’ transactions.
• It does not guarantee a counterparty or commercial outcome.
• It is not a legal, tax or customs representative.

Operating standards

• Verified information with a named source.
• Confidentiality of enquiries, product information and pricing.
• Equal treatment of members pursuing the same opportunity.
• A written outcome for each agreed assignment.
