Four categories.

Founding
for participants in the first intake, regardless of company size.
Corporate
for companies.
Business (SME)
for small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs.
Associate
for associations, institutions and professional bodies; without voting rights.
02Criteria

Who may apply.

  • A genuine commercial interest in trade between the Ukrainian and Kosovar markets.
  • Companies and entrepreneurs, business and professional associations, sectoral, expert and research organisations may apply.
  • Companies from third countries may also apply if they have such a commercial interest.
03Benefits

What membership provides.

  • Founding, corporate and business members have the right to vote at the General Assembly and may be elected to the Board.
  • Members may take part in approved working groups in accordance with their category.
  • Members receive institutional information from UKCC and may contribute to setting priorities through the designated governing bodies.
  • The Chamber provides members with practical support on founding, corporate and business documents within the limits of its competence.
  • The terms for partner search and for the preparation of sector briefs are determined according to the membership category; amounts, quotas or deadlines that have not been agreed are not published.
  • Any separate projects or possible services are agreed separately and do not follow automatically from member status.

Initial discussion

After the initial discussion, UKCC provides the approved form or explains how a formal application is submitted.

Application

Complete the application and provide the information about the company or organisation that it requires.

Review by the Board

The Board reviews only a completed application, in accordance with the Statute.

Start of membership

Membership begins after formal approval and the fulfilment of the approved conditions.

Review under the Statute.

Review period

The Board reviews a completed application in accordance with the Statute. The review period is not published until it has been approved and supported by a working process.

06Rights and obligations

What membership means and what it does not mean.

  • Voting rights and participation in the Board and in working groups depend on the membership category.
  • Membership begins after formal approval and the fulfilment of the approved conditions, including payment of the annual fee.
  • Membership does not create commercial guarantees, and the Chamber does not act as a member’s agent.
  • Legal, tax and customs support is provided by qualified specialists, not by the Chamber.
