Liudmyla Makei

Liudmyla Makei is a co-founder and the Vice-President for Communications and Media of the Ukrainian-Kosovar Chamber of Commerce.

She has more than twenty years of experience in journalism, editorial work, authored content and cultural communication. She has worked as a correspondent, an editor and an independent journalist, cooperating with Ukrainian and international media platforms.

Her professional work covers interviews, human stories, cultural projects and the responsible coverage of difficult social subjects. While in Kosovo, Liudmyla continues to work as a journalist and introduces the local audience to Ukrainian culture, in particular through her own works in the Petrykivka painting style.

The combination of journalistic, teaching and creative experience helps her to explain complex subjects in plain language and to present the work of organisations and professional communities accurately and convincingly.

At UKCC, Liudmyla is responsible for the editorial quality of published material, for relations with the media and for preparing content about companies, markets, entrepreneurs and practical opportunities for cooperation between Ukraine and Kosovo.
